Our Very Merry Christmas

I hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday. We had a great time! We were able to make it up to my Mom's for the annual Christmas Eve Party, which was a lot of fun. Emma didn't want to sit on Santa's lap, but she did take the present and run. But then she made her way back to talk to Mrs. Claus and show off her Tinker Bell(and tell them thank you). It was Christmas with the Campbell's this year and they came up to our house which was fun. They did so many fun things with the kids. Took them to the Treehouse Museum twice, to Zoo lights @ Hogle Zoo, and to see the lights @ Temple Square, out to eat a bunch of times, we all had a great time and we were so glad that they came up. We hope that everyone has a wonderful New Year!!!!

He was the entertainment. So glad everyone made it, safely and wished the rest of the fam could have been there too. Love you Mom!

Halloween 2010

We had a super fun Halloween this year, this is Ry and the kids @ the Syracuse Pumpkin Walk. Logan was able to decorate one with his pre-school. And then we carved pumpkin's up @ Grandma Gunnell's house and then trick-or-treating with cousins. Emma was Tink-ta-bell, and Logan was Spidey man. They looked so cute :)

Family Picture's

We made it through another round of family picture's! It's been two year's since we had them done, because they are just stressful. Thanks to my great friend Heather Bergsjo they turned out beautiful, with very little stress! She has a blog you can check out if you are in need of some pic's. She is on my friends list, Heather & Kevin. Thanks again Heather, I can't believe I'm saying this but I can't wait till next time!

Emma Turn's Two!

Our little sweetheart turned two on the 3rd, I can't believe how big she is! It's so crazy how quickly they grow. Emma had a great birthday, got lots of fun present's that Logan love's to steal. She is so funny, that night she wouldn't let my Grandma Rinderknect hold her new baby doll, then she pointed to her and said "Timeout!" Haha, wonder where she's heard that? And then she got mad @ my dad for putting her back-pack in the sack and kinda yelled at him. She is hilarious, quite a stinker at times. She loves to sing, her favorites are ring around the rosies, ABC's, twinkle twinkle, it's the cutest thing to hear her sing :) We are so blessed to have her in our family. Happy Birthday Emma, Love you!

My Mom

I just absolutely love my Mom!! What a wonderful person she is and I am truly blessed to have her as my Mother. Shelly and I have been going up to help her almost every Monday to help her out, but I think that she helps me out more than I help her. I love being around her, I love watching her play with my kids, I love learning how to can(can anyone believe I just said that?) But I do, it makes me so happy to go up there and hang out with her and Shelly. She is the most amazing person I know, the strongest person I know. Such an inspiration. Here she is going through chemo(again) and she made a bunch of quilts for a humanitarian project. Canning all of her vegetables for the year to come for her family. Making supper for another family in need. Cooking for my Dad's FHE group (25-50) people once a month. Taking care of her Mother who lives up the street. I could go on and on. AMAZING. I love her so much and I'm so thankful for her.

"Stop eating all those tomatoes or you'll get sick"

Have you ever heard anyone say that before? I have quite a bit this summer. Logan absolutely loves cherry tomatoes! Last night we had dinner at my mom's, and Logan ate around 20-25 cherry tomatoes. My Dad actually told him to stop eating them. Haha. He goes out to the garden and eats them there. I ask did you wash them? "ya I wiped them off on my shirt" Guess they are clean then right? Then there was a small bowl on the table with tomatoes in it and he had those polished off in minutes. Then even after he was cleaned up he was over by the sink eating from a bucket that we had just picked(not washed yet). That is when my Dad said "Stop eating those or you'll get sick" I just laughed. I have never known parents/grandparents to say that.
And no this wasn't just a one-time occurrence, it has happened almost every Monday since the tomatoes have come on and we have been up to Providence. I'm surprised he hasn't been sick. What a silly kid!
Two Monday's ago we were up there, and Emma kept eating them out of a bucket on the porch(not clean) yes she love's them about as much as Logan, but I think she had gotten her fill so she started squishing them. It was pretty cute, wish I had gotten a picture.
Anyhow these kids keep me busy, but I love them more than anything!

Ready for Fall :)

So I don't mind doing a blog, it's just that I hate to write. I think I will just add picture'sand some caption's and call it good. Anyhow here is Logan on his first day of pre-school, the look he has is hilarious. Emma's too :) And I pampered myself a little bit, with a pedicure. Ryan went down to Richfield to go camping with his brother's and Dad this past weekend. Since I had to work Emma went with and spent some time with Grandma Campbell(Anna). So I had the entire house to myself. At first I was a little sad that they were gone, but I did enjoy my quiet time too. I worked all day Friday, but indulged a little with some take-out Olive Garden. YUMMY! And to eat my dinner in peace and quiet with-out getting up 10 times, was great. Saturday I worked but then hung out with my sis Kelli. We went and got some Indian food! So delicious and very, very HOT. Sunday I cleaned and waited for my family to come back. They had a great time, Logan even caught a fish. Overall nice weekend for everyone.

Our new Basement!

So here it is...Not 100% finished but close enough to show off some pictures! All we have left are some of the baseboards and trim! But we absolutely love it and can't wait to have it completely finished so we can relax a little bit. Ewe I just remembered, last night we were watching a movie and I saw a HUGE spider run across the floor. Of course I made Ry grab it, but that is one thing about basements, they have more spider's. Yuck!

Catching up

Ready to help us paint

Fire-belly toads from Kel

Hanging out

Jesse and Bullseye! Yee-haw

Where to begin really? This summer has flown by. We finally got a new computer so now I can catch up on blogging and everything else. Last week Ryan and I both had it off so we played, we went to Lagoon with Scott and Des, went up to Bear Lake and then stayed and played @ Mom's. Went up Providence Canyon and had a dinner. We had a great time, and we were both sad to see the week come to an end.

Logan turned 4 on the 4th. We had a dinner and party for him. I can't believe how quickly my kids are growing up. I showed Logan his baby book today, well the start of his baby book, because I have been on hiatus from scrapbooking ever since he was 6 months old. Anyhow he loved looking at himself as a baby, and after we put it away he said " thanks mom for showing that to me" ahh what sweet kid.

We have also been busy re-doing our basement. Whew what a big project! But it has been fun. We tore down wall-paper, wood paneling, removed nasty old blue carpet and padding. What a mess! But now it is so nice and cozy! We really love it, and it looks 100 times better. I haven't taken after picture's because we still have some to-do items but i will soon.
